Monitor
Monitor type:
Liquid Crystal Display (LCD): Liquid crystal displays are the most common and widely used type of display. They use liquid crystal technology to control the transmission and blocking of light to form images. LCD displays typically have a thinner appearance, lower power consumption, and higher resolution. They are suitable for a variety of uses, including computer monitors, television screens and mobile devices.
Organic light-emitting diode display (OLED): OLED displays use organic light-emitting diode technology, where each pixel emits light by itself without the need for a backlight. This enables OLED displays to achieve higher contrast ratios, richer colors and faster response times. OLED displays are suitable for applications such as high-end TVs, smartphones and wearable devices.
High Dynamic Range Display (HDR): HDR displays support a wider brightness range and color depth, allowing for more realistic and vivid images. HDR monitors are suitable for viewing high dynamic range content such as movies, games and photography.
Curved monitor: A curved monitor has a curved appearance, with its screen showing a slightly curved shape. This design helps provide a wider field of view and a more immersive viewing experience. Curved monitors are suitable for gaming, multimedia entertainment and work tasks, especially those who need to work in front of the screen for long periods of time.
Touch screen monitors: Touch screen monitors feature touch-sensitive technology that allows users to interact with the screen through their fingers or stylus. They are widely used in smartphones, tablets, kiosks and interactive displays.
Projector: A projector is a device that projects images onto a screen or other flat surface. They typically use liquid crystal, DLP (digital light processing) or LCoS (liquid crystal silicon) technology to form images. Projectors are suitable for large presentations, home theaters and educational settings.
4K monitor: A 4K monitor has a higher resolution, providing more pixels and sharper image details. They are suitable for professional graphic design, video editing, gaming and watching HD content.
Multi-monitor setup: A multi-monitor setup uses two or more monitors connected together to expand the work area. This setup improves productivity by allowing users to display multiple applications and tasks simultaneously.
