Latest 2024 Consumer Council Test Results: 11 Bladeless Fan Heaters with Cooling and Heating Functions:
To save space, many households opt for bladeless fans with both cooling and heating functions. The Consumer Council tested 11 bladeless fans with heating and cooling capabilities on the market. They found significant variations in heating speed, cooling airflow, and energy efficiency among the samples. Furthermore, the electricity consumption of these bladeless fans was not found to be more energy-efficient than using air conditioners. Consumers should refer to the Consumer Council's bladeless fan test report before purchasing.
The Consumer Council tested 11 bladeless fans with both heating and cooling functions. Six of these came with a HEPA filter and claimed to have air purification capabilities.
Among the six samples with air purification functions, PHILIPS and Dyson scored the highest, both receiving a score of 4 out of 5. The PHILIPS sample had the fastest heating speed among the six, raising the room temperature in 1.8 minutes, and also had the highest airflow at 25.8 cubic meters per minute, making it the best performing sample in terms of both heating and cooling functions. Samples scoring 3.5 points included bladeless fans from Kusa, inno3C, and LG. The inno3C model showed mid-range performance in heating and airflow.
Five samples without air purification capabilities were also tested. German Pool and Power Living both received a score of 4 out of 5. The Yohome sample received a score of 3.5, with a heating time of 3 minutes and a lower airflow of 9.7 cubic meters per minute.
