RF16-28mm F2.8 IS STM is the first F2.8 constant aperture non-L RF ultra-wide-angle zoom lens, it weighs only 445g and 91.0mm long when retracted thanks to the design concept that emphasizes a balance of size, image quality, functionality, and price. It features 4 UD lenses, 1 Replica Aspherical lens and 1 GMo Aspherical lens, offering high quality images comparable to that of L-series lenses. Its F2.8 aperture also produces beautiful bokeh. Its built-in Optical IS offers 5.5-stop shake compensation at center and supports Peripheral Coordinated Control. It also features the dust-and-water-resistant design equivalent to that of L-series lenses.
