Broadway "Statutory Removal Service" - Terms

1. EligibilityCustomers who purchase regulated electrical appliances specified by the "Product Eco-Responsibility Ordinance," including air conditioners, washing machines, refrigerators, televisions, computers, printers, scanners, and monitors, may request arrangements for the free removal of old appliances of the same type and quantity (must belong to the same category of regulated appliances).

2. Removal LocationApplicable at any location in Hong Kong.

3. Selection Period
- Customers may select the removal service at the store or during online shopping; or
- Customers may request it within 3 days after the purchase. After that, the right to request removal will be forfeited.

4. Removal Service Time
- Generally, 3 working days should be reserved for arranging the removal service.
- On the date scheduled by the customer, the old item will be removed from the designated location.
- The removal of the old item must be completed within 14 days after the regulated appliance has been accepted.
- If the above arrangements (a-c) do not meet the customer's needs, the customer may forgo the removal service and handle the old item themselves or choose the paid upgraded removal service offered by the company.
- Services are not provided on Sundays and public holidays.

5. Notes
- The removal service is handled separately from delivery and installation services. Items waiting to be removed can be taken away first if necessary, or stored temporarily at the removal location and taken away later, as arranged with the staff.
- Once the old item is collected, it cannot be returned.
- The old item must not have any internal parts removed and should be placed independently, free from any devices, connection systems, or obstacles.
- If the old item has serious hygiene issues (e.g., food residue, cockroaches, ants), staff have the right to refuse to remove the item, and the consumer will no longer be eligible for the free removal service.
- If the customer needs to change the agreed removal location or time, please notify by phone at least 2 working days in advance.
- In cases of black rainstorm warning / Signal No. 8 or above for tropical cyclones, the removal service will be suspended and rescheduled.
- If there are delays, suspensions, or rescheduling due to traffic, weather conditions, or other factors on the scheduled removal time, the company will not be liable.
- The personal information of customers and contacts will only be used for the removal service. The company will comply with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486 of the Laws of Hong Kong) in handling the data.
- Each regulated electrical appliance will have an appropriate recycling label. When returning goods, the customer must return the relevant label.
- In case of any disputes, the company reserves the final decision.
- Air ConditionerIncludes standalone and split-type air conditioners with a cooling capacity of no more than 7.5 kW (approximately 3 HP).
- Washing MachineWashing capacity not exceeding 10 kg.
- RefrigeratorTotal volume not exceeding 500 liters.
- TelevisionScreen size not exceeding 100 inches (measured diagonally).
- ComputerIncludes personal computers, desktops, tablets, laptops, and notebooks.
- PrinterWeight not exceeding 30 kg; if simultaneously used as a copier, facsimile machine, or scanner, it is still considered a printer.
- ScannerWeight not exceeding 30 kg.
- MonitorDoes not have data storage or computing functions, and the screen size is between 5.5 inches and 100 inches (measured diagonally).
